When do I start making coaches aware of me?

This is a question that we receive all the time from families. College coaches are constantly recruiting and setting up files on athletes that they are observing - sometimes over a two-three year period! Consequently, the earlier one begins the marketing process, the better.

Coaches tell CPOA that they like to be made aware of a prospect when that student is in grade 10th or 11th grade. Remember, unless you are a 'blue-chip' athlete, coaches are unlikely to find you. If you start your marketing process early and continue the process until your senior high school year you will increase your chances enormously.
